Arkansas
Professional Bail Association invites new members in two categories:
Member -- for bail companies operating in the state of Arkansas;
and, Associate Member -- Bail and bond agents working in the state
of Arkansas.
The
purpose of the Arkansas Professional Bail Association is to strengthen
our professionalism, increase our effectiveness, help protect
our communities, and observe the rights of those required to make
appearances in a court of law in Arkansas.
As
a member of the APBA you will:

Be able to enroll in the Beginning Education course (required
for licensing) taught by experienced instructors in the profession. There is no substitute
for experience if you want useful information on how to best
operate in Arkansas as a professional bail company owner and/or
agent.
- Receive
study materials for licensing exam.
- Receive
a color photo ID with signature and fingerprint for completing
the Beginning Education class (free renewal annually).
- Benefit
from the knowledge of experts in various areas of your business'
operations at Continuing Education classes.
- Benefit
from the work your professional association does in the Arkansas
General Assembly:
- Receive
updates on proposed legislation and take action.
- Learn
about new laws and regulations that affect your business.
- Propose
ideas for laws that would assist the professional bail agent.
- Take
advantage of national contacts and contacts with other state
associations through our Arkansas Professional Bail Agents education
director.
- Be
represented at national conventions of the Professional Bail
Agents of the U.S.A.
- Take
advantage of contacts with providers of equipment for our profession.
- Agents,
as an associate member, you will have direct contact to the
expertise of the state association and its research to assist
you in your work. Just call upon us.
- Member allowed two votes on matters of business of the association.
- Your company will be listed on this Web site as a member
of a professional bail association along with all counties you
are licensed in.
- Your company will have access to your own section of the
Catch-a-Fugitive Database.
